Change your paradigms, change your life!

I have a whole bookshelf dedicated to Law of Attraction books; even a few of which are based on "quantum science" and promise that if I tap into the field of unlimited potential just right, all of my wishes will come true.

And where I've had nominal advances in changing my life, I still tend to pick up any book that says anything like "here is the real secret you need to get this stuff to work even better" only to find after reading the book that I've already read about that particular "secret." I found myself feeling over read and under done, and knew I really needed to just focus on living what I'd read about.

So, needless to say, when I received my kindle edition of "Why Quantum Physicists Do Not Fail," I may have been open minded, but still expected to breeze through the book, reading the same thing put a different way.

This was not the case! Though yes, if you are a student of LOA, and have ready any of the books out there, you will read about some familiar concepts.

What I liked that was different:

For one thing, in the few books on quantum physics I've read, the author tends to say things like "quantum physics has found..." but not give any references? So how do I know they are not just making this stuff up? Greg offers references and suggested reading. I liked that he was getting his information from a source, and not third or fourth hand from someone saying "quantum science has found..." And where Greg may have said this too (I don't actually remember) I DO remember his sources, and even looked a couple of them up myself!

He talks about paradigms.

"...paradigms tell us why we do things the way we do them. Our paradigms are the umbrella under which all the things we do make sense to us; they are, in fact, the reasons we do things the way we do them." ~ From the book - (location 167).

Our paradigms can change when we receive new information.

Unfortunately, the majority of people hold paradigms that are quite old. And, these paradigms haven't been updated at all. I think it's funny when you consider that most people don't even use the same cell phone for more than a year, yet are happily working out of paradigms that could be thousands of years old.

Fortunately, we can update our paradigms once we know that there was something we didn't know.

Greg's book is a comprehensive guide to updating paradigms in a way that's easy, understandable, and VERY clear!

He also points out some things that are notorious for holding us back - even when we are taking all the right actions!

Did you know you may have a cellular addiction that is keeping you in a space of negative thinking?

Did you know that your expectations are as important as your actions?

Did you know that most popular culture goes to great lengths to convince you that you are flawed and limited so that they may sell you a product to make you "better?"

Did you know "telling it like it is" may be different than "telling it like you see it?"

I will say that I liked this book well enough to write out key points and tape them up on my wall so that they'd sink in. I truly believe that we were all meant to not just live life, but live it abundantly. Deep inside each of us is a tender and precious heart that aspires to something greater than the limitations we put on ourselves. Deep inside each of us is a radiant light meant to shine bright. I think that every day, more and more people are feeling this inside of them, and longing to get out of that teeny fish tank of a life. "Why Quantum Physicists Do Not Fail" gave me new tools that feel good to use, and I can see (and feel) them making a difference little by little, every day; they move me toward a brighter expression of myself!

(Note: this book was a gift from the author, given to me for the purpose of reviewing. I don't know him, have never met him, and seriously, if I couldn't have gotten through the first couple of chapters of this book - a review would never have even been written because I tend to not want to waste my time on books I don't like.)

Absolutely Genius!

I have read thousands of books on every topic from Law of Attraction to Quantum Physics, read all of Lynn McTaggart books including "The Field" and the "Intention Experiment", watched the movie "What the Bleep..". "The Power of Now", everything the Hicks wrote, literally a thousand books on the topic of Energy / Quantum Field. And this book just puts all the pieces together and makes them all make sense.

I am currently reading this book by Joyce Meyer "Change your words, change your life" and if you are a believer in God and you read this book while you read "Why Quantum Physicists Do Not Fail" you will get an epiphany. The truth unfolds right there in front of you. I had to sit back and take a breath of fresh air; it's more overwhelming than one could possibly imagine.

I would highly recommend reading "The Field" by Lynn McTaggart as well. Then read these scriptures such as Mark 11: 22-23. Matthew 18:19, Philippians 2:14, Proverbs 4:20-27, 1 Peter 4:8-10, and Romans 12:1-2. Those are just a few scriptures that tie into this book.

After you read the books I recommended and watch the movie "What the Bleep do we know" & "Everything is Spiritual" by Rob Bell your mind will be enlightened to a greater truth that will change your life forever!!!

Now I know why Greg is called the "Science Guy" when it comes to the Law of Attraction. Greg In 146 pages gives you a clear, concise, practical explanation of Quantum Physics and then gives you 3 simple steps and 6 powerful tools to help you to consciously use this science to create the circumstances and experiences you want. That's a tall order, but Greg nails it. This book is for you if you find yourself falling short of your goals and dreams, because it will give you the edge you seek to turn your failures into successes in rapid time!

This book was suprisingly helpful, covering issues of knowing the difference between your "needs" and "wants," and becoming conscious of the tradeoffs required in accepting the best "whole package" decision that meets your needs.

Excellent, but very detailed

I thought this would be my usual easy, 2-hour read a book. It reads more like a college textbook as far as details. Yet,reading slowly and truly taking the time to understand what he is explaining really helped me with my life. In only the first few pages I found myself realizing WHY I made a lot of bad decisions. Still have a couple of chapters to go, but it is a recommended book if you seem to find yourself saying "What do I do?" about most of your decisions. Or even a single important decision. This book will help you determine why you make most of your decisions and how to change that to make more sensible, logical, and most importantly decisions that make you feel good about yourself and confident.

This book is dense with information. The book will help you figure out why you make the decisions you do and point you toward the processes needed to made better decisions. Read this book -- it has valuable lessons in it that should be taken to heart.

Great resource for aspiring LEGO artists

Whether you are a builder or just fan who likes admiring LEGO artwork, this is probably a great book for you. I am thoroughly enjoying it. Photography and production quality is very high. Comes with two pull-out posters which is great to check out more detail in the two mega structures presented but nothing I would really want hanging on a wall.

This book focuses on real world icons from major cities across the world. The book mostly focuses on architecture but there are models of other things that you might find in a particular major city like a New York hot dog stand or a London phone booth. The author also features mosaic artwork and LEGO models in different scales (mini, minifig, mega(?), etc)

If you're a big LEGO fan you've probably already seen tons of examples of what creativity and LEGO bricks can bring. What this book might add to that is just how some of these models are done. Step-by-step instructions are given for some of the models presented. Mostly these are mini-scale models, facades or a standalone tower. I like this because it helps me picture how some of the models are created and new techniques to learn. Larger structures in the book, of course, do not have instructions but I feel that if you had the bricks, the time and creativity the book would be a good tool in achieving grander scale projects. With just over 250 pages and dozens of models to build, the instructions are not quite as detailed or step-by-step as your usual LEGO instructions. The instructions are condensed so that several layers of bricks are applied in each step. The instructions are also a bit small so it's difficult to see all the details but you still get the general idea. Older children and teenagers can manage.

For parents and children: you only have to look at the cover of the book to realize that this is meant for serious builders and LEGO collectors. A starter bucket of LEGO bricks will not be enough to pursue most of the projects presented in the book. It's a great source of inspiration but it does require a fair amount of bricks that may be difficult to acquire off retail shelves.

Overall, a great buy. I'm a huge collector of LEGO (and books about LEGO) and this is a great buy for older LEGO fans and serious builders. My only complaint is that the pages could have been bigger to accommodate more detail in the instructions.

Great idea book for amateur builders with Lego

I have four kids - all loving to use Lego to build something new. Sometimes they follow a plan. Other times they are very creative. What I love about creativity is that they can check out what others have done in order to get more ideas. That's why I am always on the lookout to discover more ideas for them to build.

Imagine my delight when I stumbled - literally - on a particular title giving step-by-step directions on building famous landscapes found throughout the world. That's what Brick City is about. Some of the constructions included in this book will have step-by-step guidance for your child to follow while others will only show the incredible details included in the buildings. Not only will you get the step-by-step instructions but you also get a list of the bricks needed to make the building.

While flipping the pages of this book, I also discovered that the Montreal Biodome and the St. Joseph's Oratory has been made in Lego. What a surprised it was to see two of the famous landmarks of my birthplace. The models have various sizes going from a scale of 5 cm to 122 cm tall.

At the beginning of the book, the child or Lego fan can read more about how building were made at the scale for Lego. You will also get a small introduction on how CAD Modeling is used for this kind of Lego creations. The reader will also get some building tips, a practice project , mosaic techniques, and a choice of projects to complete within the book.

Needless to say that I am very impressed with this book and I know that some brick builders in this household will have a blast exploring and creating their own famous icons from around the world. Would you believe me if I tell you you can build Marilyn Monroe above the subway vent with her skirt flowing around? Yes it's in the book along with instructions to build the famous Red Phone Box in London and other famous places. Also enclosed with the book are two dramatic posters featuring LEGO� model photos of architectural world landmarks.

So if you have an avid brick builder in your household, I strongly recommend the book Brick City to you. It is packed with interesting projects and will allow your child (or Lego fan) to explored a new level of construction. This book would make a perfect birthday gift or a Christmas surprise under the tree.
