Fantastic book!
By NG
Huurdeman does a fantastic job of weaving together well researched facts from the history of telecommunications with interesting stories that keep the reader engaged. I'm an electrical engineering student focusing on communications, and I think this book is vital in learning a greater context about the field. This book should attract both technologists and the interested lay person equally. Read my full review here: http://ngargle.blogspot.com/2014/08/review-of-worldwide-history-of.html

Savvy Research Paper
By mickey_heart
The Worldwide History of Telecommunications is a great reference book. Other books focus on only one piece of technology or one time period, but this one has everything. That makes this book a little factual...zzzz, but when doing a research paper, it's perfect.
