Just what I needed

So far this book is great. I played the flute in our middle school band many, many, many years ago and wanted to start playing again. I had forgotten many of the notes but this book clearly shows the finger positions for the notes and provides excellent exercises for learning. This is the perfect book for beginners or for folks like me trying to pick it back up again.

I'm a Sax player who's played for many many year and back in high school many many years ago I started to learn to play the Flut

Just recently purchased a Flute and this book is an invaluable tools for learning the instrument and music ... I'm a Sax player who's played for many many year and back in high school many many years ago I started to learn to play the Flute to where back in those days we had what they called "Method Books" but this new teaching tool is very nicely arranged and modernized plus easy to follow ... I already know music but this is a great refresher course ...

Great book andprram just needs an update for new systems

The SmartMusic software that comes with this book will not run on Windows Vista or Win 7 or 64 bit systems. see the information at the following link to get the updated software for newer systems.

For newer operating systems, such as Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Mac OSX 10.5 and later, you will need to download SmartMusic 11.
Download for Windows Vista or Windows 7.
